Diplastrella bistellata (Schmidt, 1862)

Esponja Incrustante con canales radiales acuíferos bien visibles partiendo de los ósculos.  Esqueleto formado por tilostilos y ásteres (oxiesferáster). Color amarillo verdoso. Vive en las comunidades de cuevas oscuras.

- Atlántico: Brasil, Azores, Cabo Verde, Canarias, Madeira y aguas europeas hasta el mar del Norte

- Mediterráneo: Occidental y Oriental
