Trachelobdella lubrica (Grube, 1840)
Hirudíneo que puede alcanzar unos 3,5 cm., con una ventosa anterior pequeña y una posterior grande. El cuello es delgado y en ocasiones lo dobla en forma de "S". El cuerpo se hace más grueso hacia la parte posterior, en donde presenta tres abultamientos, dos laterales y uno dorsal. En los laterales posee 14 pares de vesículas. El color es variable, pardo oscuro, amarillo, verdoso o marrón. (Nöel&Sittler, 2020). Según Saglam et al. (2003) abandonan los peces para poner huevos, tras lo cual mueren (Sawyer, 1986; Williams et al., 1994)
HÁBITAT
T. lubrica es un parásito común que se adhiere a la cavidad branquial de numerosas especies marinas de peces teleósteos. (Ramdani, 2023)
