Hypsicomus stichophthalmos (Grube, 1863)
SINÓNIMOS: Potamilla stichophthalmos (Grube, 1863); Sabella (Potamilla) stichophthalmos (Grube, 1863); Sabella stichophthalmos Grube, 1863
Poliqueto que vive en el interior de un tubo grisáceo y liso formado por moco y sedimento. Cuerpo de unos 36 mm de longitud y 2 de anchura y con hasta 190 segmentos. Corona branquial de 11 mm de longitud y con entre 13 y 16 pares de radiolas, las cuales se encuentran unidas en su base por una membrana que alcanza entre 1/4 y 1/5 de su longitud (Grube, 1863). Vive en fondos umbríos.
