Dictyonella incisa (Schmidt, 1880)
Esponja incrustante o algo masiva con la superficie lisa, de consistencia blanda y con lóbulos o circunvalaciones en la superficie. Presenta sólo espículas megascleras de tipo estilo, no espinosos, dispuestos en haces anastomosados y divergentes que se adelgazan progresivamente hacia la superficie. Color naranja o amarillo. (van Soest et al., 2002)
HÁBITAT
En fondos umbríos o profundos hasta unos 300 m.
DISTRIBUCIÓN
- Atlántico: Cabo Verde y aguas europeas hasta el mar del Norte
- Mediterráneo: Occidental.
